The Capucas cooperative was founded in 1999 near Honduras' highest mountain, Celaque. Since then, it has focused on improving the lives of its workers and the local community, providing free healthcare, university education, a soccer academy, and a virtual library. The coffee trees are pruned to a low height to facilitate harvesting, allowing the Honduran coffee popular with consumers to reach its full potential.
