The Capucas cooperative was founded in 1999 near Honduras' highest mountain, Celaque. Since then, it has focused on improving the lives of its workers and the local community, offering free healthcare, university education, a football academy, and a virtual library. The coffee trees are pruned to a low height to facilitate harvesting, allowing Honduran coffee, popular with consumers, to reach its full potential.
